We review the market regularly in order to ensure that we work with insurance companies that offer the best international solutions on the market. Our search is not limited to find the best benefits and premiums of each plan, but we will also take into account the services provided by the insurance companies. We like to work with partners that offer an ethical and personalised service, like we do ourselves.
All the international insurance companies we work with have both individual and corporate plans. Most of the French policies are distributed through our French office: Expat Assure France.
Aetna International
Aetna International belongs to Aetna, an American medical insurance company founded in 1853. Aetna International (Europe) Limited is based in the UK and specialises in medical insurance for expatriates.
ALC
ALC Health is a British medical insurance company with 10 years of experience. The expat insurance policies are insured by Catlin Insurance Co and the claims managed by Global Response. ALC now has clients based in 140 different countries.
Allianz Care
Allianz Care is a key player in expatriate health insurance. Based in Dublin, Allianz Care is part of Allianz France and the insurance policies of Allianz Care are regulated by the French law. The parent company, Allianz group is German and was created in 1890. They have a great financial strength.
April International
April International is a French company, part of the April group, created in 1988 and which altogether has 6 million clients in 37 countries worldwide.
AXA PPP International
Created in 2009, AXA PPP International is a British company specialised in expatriate health insurance. It is part of the AXA PPP group, second most important, by size, international private medical insurance company in the UK. The AXA PPP group belongs to the French insurer AXA, the world’s largest insurer with over 50 million clients worldwide.
Bupa
Created in 1947, Bupa is a non-profit British insurance company specialising in private medical insurance. Bupa is the largest medical insurance company in the UK.
Bupa Global
The British company Bupa Global is part of the Bupa Group. With 1.9 million customers, Bupa Global is the first expatriate health insurance company in Europe (individual & corporate).
Cigna
Cigna is an American health insurance company. They have been in the UK since 1983. Cigna is one of the largest company in the world for expat insurance. They employ 35,000 people worldwide. The expatriate division dealing with the worldwide market Cigna Global Health Options is based in Glasgow (UK).
Legal & General
Legal & General has 140 years history and is one of the UK’s leading financial service groups. L&G specialises in four areas of businesses: insurance, savings, investment management and international business. Regarding insurance, they specialise in protection insurance such as life insurance and income protection.
LV=
LV= Liverpool Victoria is the British largest friendly society in the UK, created in 1843 as Liverpool Victoria. It is specialised in family protection insurance such as life assurance and income protection plans but also in all kinds of insurance (cars, home, contents…).
Now Health International
Now Health is an international insurance company based in the UK and was established quite recently, in 2011. They are administered by AXA.
Vitality
Vitality is a British insurance company created in 1994 specialising in private medical insurance and protection. It’s divided into VitalityHealth (formerly PruHealth) for health insurance and VitalityLife for income protection and life insurance. Vitality is backed by two large international financial services companies: Prudential and Discovery Holdings. Vitality has 680,000 clients.
William Russell Ltd
William Russell Ltd is an independent, family-run business based in the UK and founded in June 1992. William Russell offers international health insurance as well as international income protection and life insurance. More than twenty years on, they have grown to become a leading specialist in expatriate insurance, internationally trusted by thousands of expatriates and international travellers.
Zurich
The Swiss group Zurich is one of the world’s largest insurance groups and has over 140 years history. Zurich has customers in 170 countries and 60,000 employees worldwide, including 11,000 in the UK. Their main business segments are: general insurance (including property, accident, car and liability insurance), life insurance, pensions, savings and investments.
